Where value goes

We create value, members get it, and we are paid for what we sell. This page sets out what you can put in, what can leave, what never does, what pays for any rewards, and how Pentagon earns. If something here disagrees with another page, tell us and we will fix the other page.

The short answer

  • Balances inside Pentagon never cash out. $PC on Pentagon Chain, Points, and gas claimed through GetPC cannot be withdrawn, bridged back to Ethereum, or exchanged for money. You use them here.
  • Redemption is in things, not cash. What you redeem leaves with you: blue-chip Ethereum NFTs, delivered to your own wallet with the creative rights their holders get, and physical goods shipped to you.
  • Creators can be paid for their work. Verified members may receive fiat payouts through a creator program designed like YouTube's or TikTok's. That is pay for activity, not a cash-out of a balance.
  • What you never put in stays yours. $PC in your own Ethereum wallet is yours. $PC you lock on GetPC stays on Ethereum and comes back to you in full when your term ends.
  • Nothing here is an investment. No returns, yield or price expectations are offered, and no balance is a claim on Pentagon.

What can leave

WhatHow it leaves
$PC in your own Ethereum walletIt never entered. It is yours, on Ethereum.
$PC locked on GetPCIt stays on Ethereum the whole time and comes back to you in full when the term you chose ends.
Blue-chip NFTs from the vaultDelivered to your own Ethereum wallet. Once there, they are yours, with whatever creative rights the collection's own license gives its holders. Every piece sits in a public Ethereum lock (PentagonPrizeLocker) until it is claimed.
Physical goods: merch, the NFC card, printed TCGShipped to you.
Creator payouts for verified membersA creator program, designed like YouTube's or TikTok's: verified members in the program may be paid in fiat for qualifying activity under a participant agreement, as service income. It pays for activity; it is not a cash-out of a balance (see Tokenomics §09).
Other Ethereum tokens bridged to Pentagon Chain (not $PC)A route back out through bridge-legacy.pentagon.games is planned for Q4 2026.

What never leaves

WhatWhy
$PC on Pentagon ChainIt is the chain's gas. It has no cash value, is never priced, is not on any exchange, and has no route back to Ethereum.
PointsPrepaid utility in your Pentagon account. Not refundable, not transferable, not exchangeable for $PC on Ethereum.
Gas claimed through GetPCIt is $PC on Pentagon Chain, so the row above applies.
$PC sent through the bridgeThe Ethereum $PC is locked in the bridge vault for good. What you receive is gas on Pentagon Chain.

A route out would need regulatory approval. Nothing is promised or scheduled, and holding $PC does not create a claim to one.

What you can redeem

Inside Pentagon, $PC and Points pay for game access and items, AI tools, digital goods and merch. Verified members can also redeem for value the project creates at /redeem:

  • Now: blue-chip NFTs with creative rights. NFTs from approved Ethereum collections whose licenses give holders creative rights to the art, under each collection's own terms. Every piece has a fixed price and goes to the first member to claim it.
  • Upcoming: tokens with an IP focus. We will publish what they are and how they work before they go live.

Only NFTs from approved collections are accepted. Holders check their NFT into the vault contract themselves, and our NFT data API, the same one behind the Pentagon Marketplace and NFT Mining, verifies each piece. The live inventory on /redeem and on the homepage is read from that same API.

What pays for rewards

No reward on Pentagon is paid by creating new $PC: the contract allows it, but no expansion has been decided, and any future use would be reviewed by counsel and disclosed first (Tokenomics §05). Each reward comes from somewhere you can check:

RewardPaid from
$PC earned by playing or contributingExisting supply in capped, published multisig wallets: Utility Supply & Distribution, and the Agent Faucet Authority for agent gas (paused). Addresses in Tokenomics §11.
Gas claimed through GetPCA finite, pre-funded pool of $PC that already exists. When the pool is empty, claims pause until it is topped up.
Vault NFTsNFTs from approved collections that their holders check into the vault contract, verified by our NFT data API. Each is held in the public lock until someone claims it.
Bridge payoutsA pre-funded payout pool on Pentagon Chain, kept topped up from the Bridge Balancing Buffer wallet.

How Pentagon earns

We create value, members get it, and we are paid for what we sell:

  • Sales. Goods and services sold for card or USDC, including Points.
  • Membership (upcoming). A subscription. What each tier includes will be published before it goes live.
  • Our technology. The chain, identity, AI stack and game IP are Pentagon's own, and we keep building them.

That revenue pays for running and growing the platform. It is not pooled for holders, does not fund any return, and no balance on Pentagon is a claim on it.

As we add games, AI tools and things to redeem, the $PC already distributed has more to be used for. That means more uses, not a price: $PC on Pentagon Chain is never priced, and nothing here says what $PC on Ethereum is or will be worth.

How the bridge works today

bridge.pentagon.games runs one way, Ethereum to Pentagon Chain:

  1. You send $PC from your Ethereum wallet to the deposit vault (PCDepositVault, 0xe6A8…6F4a). It is locked there for good.
  2. After Ethereum confirms it, two separate signers must both approve the release: a keeper and an independent verifier (2-of-2).
  3. The payout contract on Pentagon Chain (PCPayout, 0x3eA4…8bf4) sends the same amount of native $PC to your address from its pre-funded pool.

Anyone can follow every deposit and payout on Etherscan and the Pentagon Chain explorer. There is no route, live or scheduled, for moving $PC from Pentagon Chain back to Ethereum. The earlier bridge, bridge-legacy.pentagon.games, no longer handles $PC; it carries other Ethereum tokens, and a route back out for those tokens is planned for Q4 2026.

Who holds what

  • Your Pentagon balance (Points) is custodial. It lives in its own on-chain smart-contract account, never a shared wallet and never pooled with anyone else's.
  • PGAI Wallet is self-custody: nobody holds your keys but you. Learn more.
  • Pentagon's own $PC sits in eleven published wallets, each with one purpose and a cap, ten of them multisig. The team holds no personal allocation. See Tokenomics.
