Guaranteed by the contracts
- In vault means locked. Every piece marked In vault ✓ is held by a public lock contract on Ethereum — the seller lock (0x1AFc…3aB9) or the Pentagon Prize Lock (0x7c0f…0924, source verified). Anyone can check it there.
- It can't be pulled out quietly. A piece leaves the lock only when the keeper releases it with a signature from the Pentagon Games signer, or goes back to the wallet that checked it in with that same signature. Neither side can move it alone, and the locks have no owner and cannot be upgraded.
- Changes are public and slow. Replacing the signer, keeper or depositor is announced on-chain and can only take effect after 48 hours; announcing it instantly voids every signature issued before.
- Your payment is escrowed for your claim only. A claim locks exactly the item's price from your own wallet or Points account in the Points Store contract on Pentagon. It can't pay for anyone else's claim.
- Not delivered in 7 days? Reclaim 100%. If the delivery receipt isn't posted within 7 days, you reclaim your full amount on-chain yourself — no request, no approval.
- The seller's price is the seller's. Only the wallet that listed a piece can change its price or delist it; Pentagon Games can't reprice it.
- Fixed price, first to claim. No bidding, no price changes after you claim.
Limitations — what still relies on Pentagon Games
- Delivery is signed by a person, not automatic. After you claim, the Pentagon Games signer reviews it and signs the release; the keeper then sends the NFT to your wallet. We aim for well inside the 7-day window.
- Pentagon Games runs both the signer and the keeper. The keeper only releases to the claim's delivery wallet, and only for a listing the piece's owner made — but that rule is enforced by Pentagon Games' own keeper, not by a single contract (the NFT is on Ethereum, the price on Pentagon Chain). That's why payment stays escrowed until delivery and can be reclaimed if it doesn't arrive.
- If the signer's key were lost, locked pieces would stay locked — nobody, including us, could move them. They can't be taken, but they also couldn't be delivered.
- The Points Store contract on Pentagon can be upgraded by the Pentagon Games treasury key, so we can ship fixes. The Ethereum lock cannot be upgraded.
- Where it's delivered. Paid in PC from a wallet → that wallet. Paid in Points → the Ethereum wallet bound to your Pentagon account (shown before you pay).
- No cash-out. Points buy pieces here; they aren't exchanged back for money.
- The contracts are new and haven't had an external audit yet. They're independently reviewed and tested.
